Earlier this week, I attended the funeral of one of my son’s friends. He was only 29 and passed away unexpectedly. Along with mourning Josh’s passing, having the Thanksgiving holiday just days away reminds me of how precious my people are in my life, especially my family.

In honor of people we love, I want to highlight ten amazing places you could go for a mother/daughter getaway. Five of them are in the U.S. and five are outside the States. With each location, I’m also suggesting a possible option for accommodations. Of course, any of these should be customized to fit what you’re looking for, but hopefully these will help get your creative juices flowing.
