A HUGE birthday is coming up!

America's 250th birthday celebration with Princess Cruises

Did you realize that America will be 250 years old in 2026? Starting next year, I’m sure there will be lots of celebrations all over the country. Jumping on the band wagon early, Princess Cruises has scheduled a brand-new historic America cruisetour in the fall of 2025. This 14-day tour combines 7 days of touring on land with a 7-day cruise from New York City.

This is such a fun itinerary! Immerse yourself in the epic tales of the nation’s capital, mingle with early settlers at a living history museum, marvel at the iconic Independence Hall in Philadelphia, and visit the grounds of Thomas Jefferson's Monticello estate, plus so many other sites.

The hosted land adventure includes overnight stays in Washington D.C., Williamsburg, Staunton, Gettysburg, and Philadelphia before embarking on a seven-day Canada/New England cruise aboard the elegant Enchanted Princess.

Highlighting some of the land options:

Washington D.C.

The nation's capital is a treasure trove of American heritage, with landmarks such as the Lincoln Memorial, the Capitol Building, and the revered exhibitions of the Smithsonian Institution. Washington D.C. whispers tales of past leaders and pivotal moments that shaped the country.

Williamsburg, Virginia

Step back in time and explore Colonial Williamsburg, a living history museum that brings the 18th century to life. Here, interact with costumed interpreters and witness daily life as it was during the formative years of America.

Staunton, Virginia

Nestled in the Shenandoah Valley, Staunton offers a unique glimpse into the early frontier days. It's the birthplace of President Woodrow Wilson and hosts the American Shakespeare Center, combining history and cultural enrichment.

Gettysburg, Virginia

Walk the hallowed grounds of Gettysburg, where a crucial Civil War battle occurred. The Gettysburg National Military Park preserves the memory of those who fought here, and the poignant Gettysburg Address echoes as a call for unity and freedom.

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Discover the birthplace of American independence. Philadelphia is home to Independence Hall, where the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were debated and adopted. The Liberty Bell stands as a symbol of freedom and democracy.

This Historic America cruisetour package includes premium hotel accommodations, comfortable motorcoach transportation, a rich itinerary of sightseeing, and most breakfasts and dinners.
